Soaked with a ferrous compound used for chemical filtration.
Binds the phosphate to the iron and removes it from the water circulation.
Reduces the content of phosphate and inhibits the growth of algae in the aquarium.
Free from harmful substances.
When the level of phosphate in the water increases again the remover is exhausted and has to be replaced.
